Prohibited Activities
These rules apply to Edmond evaluation, Instant Funded, and PRO accounts.
What is not allowed
Identity, access, and account integrity
- Misrepresenting the program: Do not present Edmond accounts, balances, or payouts as a live brokerage account or as deposited capital.
- Credential and account sharing: Do not share logins, devices, IPs, payment cards, or copy trades. Only the registered owner may trade or complete verification.
- Multiple Edmond logins: One person, one Edmond login. Extra profiles, including household or related parties, used to dodge restrictions or probation are a ban offense.
- False information: Do not submit false identity, residency, financial, or account documents.
- Hiding identity or location: Using a VPN, proxy, cloud host, or anonymizer to hide who or where you are, hide a prior violation, or enable fraud is prohibited.
Billing and payouts
- Payments and payouts in another name: Fees must be paid with a method in your name. Rewards must go to an account in your name.
- Bad-faith chargebacks: Do not dispute an Edmond fee with your bank after access has been delivered. Contact support@edmondtraderfunding.com first. A chargeback may freeze every account on that profile and bar later purchases. See the Chargeback Policy and Terms §7.
System abuse and simulation integrity
- System abuse: Do not alter Edmond platform data, spoof staff, or game Edmond systems for an unfair advantage.
- Simulation exploitation: High-frequency or other strategies aimed at feed or platform quirks, bad fills, or exceeding plan size are forbidden.
- Automation / bots: Edmond rewards recognize discretionary human trading, not unattended algorithmic execution of prebuilt logic.
- Non-directional bracket trapping: Placing long orders far below price and short orders far above price to catch a spike or dip is prohibited. These lottery brackets exploit simulation mechanics and do not represent real directional trading.
- News gambling: A normal directional trade around news is fine. Chasing the print only to gamble the release is not.
Risk management
- Stop-loss: Place a working stop-loss on every trade. Account-protection limits (DLL, EOD, Trailing Threshold) are liquidation safeguards, not trade-management tools. Using firm limits as your stop or target is prohibited.
- Skewed risk/reward: A tiny profit target against a much larger stop, such as a few ticks of profit with a very wide stop, is not acceptable.
Direction and position management
- Hedging / two-way risk: Trade one direction only. Do not hold long and short at the same time on the same or tightly correlated instruments, including short NQ and long ES, or one Edmond account against another.
- 4-minute direction rule: After you enter, keep that direction for at least four minutes before opening the other way. You may close at any time, and you may scale in or out in the same direction.
Market close
- Holding through the cash close: Flatten and cancel working orders before the cash close.
A breach can close the account and forfeit the simulated balance. Edmond may audit activity and request more verification. Technical issues on websites, platforms, or data can void trades. See also our Terms, PRO Consistency Guidelines, and Intraday Trailing evaluation rules.
