Tester Onboarding Walkthrough

Sign up → get credentials → log in to Rithmic or TradeSea → place your first trade.

Module 1 — Sign up & pay

Create your Edmond account, choose an eval plan, and complete checkout.

    Choose a plan

    From the homepage or direct link: /signup?size=25k&model=intraday (change size and model=eod for EOD plans).

    Complete the signup form

    Legal name as on ID, email, password, address. Accept agreements.

    Pay with Stripe

    Open your dashboard

    Account shows Active. Charts may show pending EOD until Rithmic’s overnight sync — that is normal.

Module 2A — Log in with Rithmic

Use credentials from Setup and Key. Full guide: Rithmic Platform Setup.

    Copy credentials

    Dashboard → Setup and Key → copy User ID and password.

    Install R|Trader Pro

    Windows desktop from your welcome email, or web: rithmic.com/rtraderpro-web

    Select paper system & connect

    Use the System/Gateway from your welcome email (often Rithmic Paper Trading). Confirm green Connected and your eval account ID.

Module 2B — Log in with TradeSea

Same User ID and password as Rithmic. Full guide: TradeSea Platform Setup.

    Open TradeSea

    Desktop or web — confirm download URL with support if not in welcome email.

Module 3 — Find a symbol & place a trade

Demo on R|Trader Pro. Start with 1 MES (micro) rather than ES on a eval account.

    Flatten position

    Close all contracts before leaving the platform. Edmond dashboard also has a Flatten control for emergencies.

Portal vs Rithmic P&L: Rithmic updates live. Edmond charts and "pending EOD" status update after the same-day EOD sync (Sun–Fri ~5:55–7:00 PM ET) — not tick-by-tick.
