Overview
TradeSea is an alternative front-end for trading your Edmond evaluation account. It connects to the same Rithmic paper environment as R|Trader Pro. You use the same User ID and password shown on Setup and Key.
Before You Start
- Completed eval signup and payment on Edmond
- Account status Active on your dashboard (provisioning may take until 6 PM ET on signup day — see Setup and Key)
- Rithmic User ID and password from Setup and Key or welcome email
- Stable internet; disable VPN if login fails
Step 1: Get Your Credentials
Setup and Key (recommended)
- Log in to Dashboard
- Open Setup and Key from the sidebar
- Copy Rithmic Username and Password
Step 2: Install or Open TradeSea
Desktop (Windows / Mac)
Download link is provided in your welcome email or Edmond onboarding materials. If you do not have a link, contact support@edmondtraderfunding.com.
TODO: Replace with official TradeSea download URL when confirmed by ops team.
Web & mobile
TradeSea also offers web and mobile clients. Use the same login as desktop. Confirm the correct URL with your welcome email.
Step 3: Log In
Login fields
- User ID / Username: Your Rithmic User ID from Setup and Key
- Password: From Setup and Key (case-sensitive)
- Environment / Server: Paper / sim — match your welcome email (same as Rithmic paper)
Select your eval account
After login, choose the account ID that matches your Edmond dashboard (e.g. E1300248-001). Trade the eval account, not a different ID in the list.
Step 4: Verify Connection
- Connection / data feed shows connected
- Account balance matches your plan size (e.g. $25,000 on a 25K eval)
- Market prices update for ES, NQ, MES, etc.
- Order entry panel is enabled (not grayed out)
Step 5: Find Symbols & Trade
UI labels vary by TradeSea version; the flow is similar to Rithmic:
- Open watchlist, symbol search, or order ticket
- Search
MES(micro) orES(mini) — start with 1 MES on eval accounts - Confirm the account dropdown shows your eval account ID
- Place a small market order during market hours
- Use Flatten / close position when done

- Wait until account activation window (see Setup and Key)
- Confirm paper/sim environment, not live
No market data
- Check futures market hours
